What is Sekhem?
Sekhem is an ancient Egyptian form of healing. References to it have been discovered in the Egyptian Book of the Dead and in ancient scrolls. It was taught as part of spiritual practices in the temples of ancient Egypt and is associated with the lion-headed Goddess Sekhmet, who is the guardian and protector of this energy. As well as being the Patroness of War, she is also considered to be the Goddess of Regeneration and Healing. Sekhmet helps us break down that which no longer serves us and helps us transform lives.
The word sekhem means Power of Powers. It is similar to reiki yet like the other systems, it has its own way of accessing the energy and works on a distinct vibrational frequency; its vibration is higher and it is channelled in a different way.
Sekhmet is of the Feline species, who are advance in healing and they often assist the healing session. It is thought that they originated from the Srian Star System and they have been helping the human race for eons unconditionally, just like how you would instinctively help the ones in need. They communicate telepathically to the practitioners regarding what the client needs and relate any messages that are important for the client’s healing.
How does it work?
Sekhem takes you to the very core of your being. It looks to balance all aspects of a person’a being: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. I channel the energy, unconditional love, passing it through my hands and into my client’s energy field and body. I read the energy field around the physical body and I can determine the state of the person’s body, mind and emotional and spiritual development. Using this information, I channel the energy to promote wellbeing and health.
I focus on working with your energy as this is where illness begins. Illness is what manifests when something in our lifestyle is not serving us. Until this is acknowledged then healing cannot happen. This is why my energy healing session includes a talking and also kinesiology – all these methods work and support each other.
Interestingly enough, sekhem healing is a two-way process. You have to be open to healing, willing to be healed and it cannot be given if it is not wanted.
